Hi there,
My name is Alex Pearl. I'm an extremely short-sighted and slightly shambolic advertising copywriter with aspirations to write something a little more lasting and meaningful than advertising copy.
My first book, a teen novel - 'Sleeping with the Blackbirds' received some very encouraging reviews. George Layton, the English author and screenwriter was very complimentary and sent a copy to his agent. Bramwell Tovey the English broadcaster and composer who lives and works in Canada and the US said it "moved me to tears." Lovereading.co.uk the UK based book retail website described it as "entrancing." And Readers' Favorite awarded it 5 stars.
