Not an easy question. Some books I struggle to finish a chapter; others I find it hard to put down. In one instance I read an entire book in a single day (okay, I stayed up real late). Mostly, my reading time is limited by physical constraints. I suffer from arthritis in my knees, and if I sit for much more than an hour, they stiffen up.

7 books a week would be a huge number! I'm lucky to read one every 2 weeks. But I guess it partly depends on the books selected--long or short, serious or for fun, fiction or nonfiction. Also, of course, on reading speed. I'm fairly slow. The older I get, the more restless I become if the day is nice. I don't want to stay inside. Watching stuff on tv, Netflix, etc. is where a lot of people spend the time they could be using for reading, imo. But reading takes more concentration than watching, so it's maybe a better way to relax.
