What does Milton mean by "no greater men them call" in paradise regained, book II?

The complete line is "Plain fishermen, no greater men them call." (The Internet is amazing.) So I'm putting in another pause after "greater," which reinforces the lowliness of these future disciples.

what does
"Unanimous they all commit the care
And management of this man enterprise
To him, their great Dictator"

mean in book I, in particular, "man enterprise" ?

o, I guess it's just a typo: I just found a text that says, "main enterprize"

It looks like "main enterprise" is meant to be tempting Jesus.
