Conference on Evidence for Astrology

The Kepler Conference on Research into Evidence-Based Astrology is an online event from January 25-28. A range of claims about statistical data will be presented.

Recognising that the usual practice of astrology is pseudo-science, the presentations at this event are meant to adhere to scientific standards of evidence. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of it that convinces independent skeptics.

I will speak on Day 4 on The Precessional Structure of Time: "Considering the solar system as a unitary whole, the astrological framework of Zodiac Ages is shown to exhibit resonance with the overall wave function of the solar system, seen in the regular pattern of the movement of the sun around the solar system barycentre or centre of mass, caused by the 178.9 year triple conjunction period of Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune. This resonance illustrates the twelve-based structure of time defining the orbital dynamics of earth in the solar system, as a basis for empirical analysis of Zodiac Ages."

Please listen in.

Can you tell us, Robert, how 'evi-
dence for astrology' is defined? It would seem it would have to be that planets and the sun affect human lives or history in specific ways, unless this conference uses some non-traditional conception of astrology.

Robert, no offense intended at all, but I would fail to understand the topic--which isn't so bad, but I'd need to pay 15 bucks as well. But good luck and I'm sure you'll present well.
