There were 10 angels . . .

The ninth angel opened her eyelids and a sun shone in each eye and a golden hall ran inward in each one. Like telepathy, she silently communicated to Gracie, outside Plato’s cave, past the sapphire skies and amber reign, past the dark matter and the dark energy and the dark chaos and the dark corners of all the dark universes, the patient farmer or the spirit and soul who comprehends the long periods of time till the harvest, knows behind the curtains of nature, waves of enlightenment, the distant ebb of unprejudiced, islands of knowledge and wholeness and sun bleached truth, shores seething unconsciousness, gentle tides of quiet, spiritual mansions splashed in pastel resplendency, paintings of panoplies of panoramic views, unbridled lush, yearning desiring yearning requited, jillions of genius suns, storms and hurricanes and typhoons and tsunamis and shifting tectonics of peace and tranquility and musical harmony, the unbeknownst of the giving heart of bliss, the deep, dark secrets of the unanswered riddles of epiphany’s imagination, the eager anticipation of desire’s hunger and thirst satisfied and quenched, over and over and over, unceasingly.
