Through the lens: Paris, the city of lights: A photographic essay - by Brian Kegels

Unread post

The city of lights, the beautiful river Seine, the Phantom of the Opera and the Hunchback of the Notre-Dame, kings and queens decapitated or not, the splendid French cuisine to be tasted in bistros and restaurants, history dating back to the Romans, squares, boulevards, bridges, churches, stately mansions, palaces, museums, monuments, shops, bars, singers, actors, painters, sculptors, philosophers, composers and so on. The city of Paris has it all!

The river Seine flows through the city centre and passes the islands Île de la Cité and Île Saint-Louis. The first has important sights of historic value, the second is quiet and picturesque to walk on. Both the left bank (south) and the right bank (north) of the Seine are worth visiting.
This book will take you through Paris — a marvellous city — based on photos. They give beautiful impressions and are provided with a short explanation, different kinds of facts and the photo's location. In this way readers can create their itinerary with stops at places they are interested in. Paris has much more places worth seeing!

Available on Amazon US in paperback version.
