Why doesn't God heal amputees?

I dont know the answer to that one. it's tough, particularly if you dont believe in a God but if you were to believe, you'd expect a God you could call Dah-Dah, Daddy, or even Papi Chulo.

What I'd like to know is why the Bible didnt include a chapter on the second law of thermodynamics and black holes. A lot of people expect the Bible to be more than a theological religious text. Im ready to jump on their bandwaggon.

Possibilities:

0) God does heal some of them. Haven't you heard the stories?
1) Because God is not powerful enough to regenerate limbs.
2) Because God is punishing the amputee or teaching them a life lesson.
3) Because God doesn't like amputees well enough to be nice to them.
4) Because God doesn't exist.

Are there other possibilities I'm missing?

I'm going to go with choice #4. If God exists and is a loving, powerful and good God he would heal amputees.

You obviously ignored choice zero

God has caused their amputated limb to grow back?

Please provide a link ore two to some examples of God causing the regeneration of amputated limbs.

First lets clarify what you seem to want to argue here:

How are you defining God?

I'm guessing God as an omnipotent being, is that correct?

The Christian God as defined by the world religion of Christianity.

Correct?

A God that can prevent horrible things from happening to his children but does not is no less a scum bag than a human father that can protect his children yet opts not to. The Christian God is said to be our father in heaven. And he has far more parental control and power than a human father. I think holding an all-powerful God to a higher standard than we hold a human father just makes good sense.
