Hello all, I'm so sorry I've been out of touch as of late. Sometimes life just gets in the way. There is so much to do all the time. Website, blog, research, writing, rewrites, edits, and I am looking for a new agent. Not to mention I volunteered to assist the local Elks Organization to assist with ...

Rancher, Welcome. Yes, it is very difficult to find a 'good' publisher. And most will not take your submissions w/o an agent. HA! Those are even harder to find. Keep at it if you don't like the one you have. Don't become discouraged. Keep plodding along. Someone will take notice, eventually. Big sto...

Suzanne, How sweet you are to mention me. I have been so busy as of late promoting, editing, reading, and writing ... I feel I have deserted my friends here at BT. You will love it here. The participants are friendly, intelligent and honest, (brutally on occasion), but none the less, I've never lear...

A new kind of Mystery

DOG ON IT I love this book. I love Chet, the dog. Bernie's okay too. But Chet -- "Chet the Jet" is awesome. Chet is engaging, endearing, and a great narrator. Dog on It is a delightful story, narrated by Chet, the dog-partner of a private detective. Chet shares with us his endearing doggy...

It amazes me that Stephen King has the audacity to say something like that. A lot of his books are so far out there ... Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed a few of his novels, but in many cases I have had to skip past a few pages because he tends to drone on and on about ... well ... nothing! Not ever...

My new Literary fiction Book

I have suggested my books in the past. But I have found that most folks on this forum are not to keen on fictional works. However, I do believe this one is worth a look. The title is Highway Destinations . http://www.booktalk.org/userpix/2033_thumbnailimage1_1.jpg Lonely highways lead to lonely live...

Pen wrote But after all, to a large extent, we are what we appear. In the same sense ... we hear and interpret what we want to hear. As far as TPoDG is concerned, I think we all take what we want from the literature. Homosexuality, religous conotations, good vs. evil, etc... As beauty is in the eye ...

TPoDG is simultaneously a Gothic horror story, a science-fiction fantasy, a homosexual allegory, a cautionary tale about corruption, and a manifesto for Wilde's beloved Aesthetic movement, a philosophy that gives priority to beauty and its particular demands over any other consideration ... moral, n...
