So, this book is about Henry House, who was an orphan, but was taken to a college to be a "practice baby" for female college students. (This takes place in the 1950's) Because he has had these 6 women in class, plus the teacher, caring for him for 2 years of his life, he of course has some issues. As an adult, he is charming and while he "conquers" many women, he is unable to trust them (ie lack of commitment).


Some parts are funny, but Martha's a little bit sad. She does seem good at her job, but what she really wants is a baby of her own.
