Post The Genius of the Beast by Howard Bloom
Chris and all of you at BookTalk.org:

I am very excited about the book discussion for Howard Bloom's new book: The Genius of the Beast: A Radical Re-vision of Capitalism.[/b] Howard is also the author of The Lucifer Principle and Global Brain. The Lucifer Principle hooked me even before Howard Bloom’s text had begun: his choice of the Solzhenitsyn pull quote following the title page suggested to me that Howard and I might share an intimately similar view of human nature. Howard's mind is a gift to humanity! Hope to see all of you in the upcoming discussion at BookTalk.org! Sincerely, <3 hal

Post
hal,

Can you post that Solzhenitsyn quote?

Here are two inspirational quotes:

Solzhenitsyn:

Quote:
Any man who has once acclaimed violence as his METHOD must inexorably choose falsehood as his PRINCIPLE.

Bloom:

Quote:
The Truth At Any Price Including The Price Of Your Life

That quote is a Chapter title (caps)

I too see connective stuff between Bloom's and Solzhenitsyn's work. The Solzhenitsyn quote above came from his Nobel Lecture.
