My book includes documentation and a discussion about the Young Earth concept.

"Confidence being an expectation built on past experience, evidence and extrapolation to the future. Faith being an expectation held in defiance of past experience and evidence."

I would greatly disagree with your statement. Men are very skeptical and seek out proof to their faith system. Sadly, they have been given a bunch of bunk!
