This songs never fails to affect me emotionally. Though I've listened to it so many times since I've heard it the first time long ago.

Post Re: Share songs and music videos that move you emotionally
It is Saint Valentine's Day:

This is our song:

I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes.
Well love is all around me, and so the feeling grows.
It´s written on the wind, it´s everywhere I go.
So if you really love me, come on and let it show.

You know I love you, I always will.
My mind's made up by the way that I feel,
there´s no beginning, there´ll be no end
cause on my love you can depend.

I see your face before me as I lay on my bed
I kinda get to thinking, of all the things you said.
You gave your promise to me, and I gave mine to you.
I need someone beside me in everything I do.

You know I love you...........(etc)

I forgot, that it is Valentine's Day. Here is a lovesong by The Cure, very simple but beautiful lyrics:

For my own reasons, I'm drawn to songs about hospitals, and sickness, and loss. Other examples would include The Mountain Goats "Matthew 25:21" and the entire Hospice album from The Antlers.

I love it when there are scenes in films where the pictures and the music fit so perfectly together, so that the story affects you even more emotionally. When I see scenes like that I always wonder who wrote the music. I remembered the film "Mists of Avalon". There were some scenes where I loved the music and was wondering from whom it was. And now I know, thanks to the former posts about video-gaming vids on youtube. It’s Loreena McKennitt. This one gave me chills:

Damn, johnson1010! I've never heard of that guy, instrument or song, but I had to post a link to it on my Facebook page for my family to see. If you have more such videos please post them.

Currently Liebestod is my favorite piece of music. I listen to it at least once a day. The English words are also beautiful. This is a wonderful rendition. I like classical music as well as other

Someone said they do not know how to access You Tube. It is very easy. Just type You Tube into your search engine. When it comes up, type in the name of the song or movie or music whatever. They usually have just about everything.

Chris,

Youtube has a number of videos of Tinashe.

He's playing the mbira for "always like this" which is another good acoustic.
"Mayday" is good.
"miss you"
"pieces of Paper"

all good.

One of the most beautiful love songs ever written, written and performed by the late Dan Fogleberg, with Emmylou Harris:
