Re: Moneyball

I have this book on my Kindle but have yet to read it, I don't have any kind of fond feelings towards baseball, my cousin's pro-ball career kind of stomped on the joy I may have found in this game, plus im Canadian so ... Hockey eh?

I think I might read it after what you have said!

Thanks

Horror/Thriller season

Hey everyone!! I am going to read The Exorcist next I believe. Simply because I can not stand that movie, I don't think it should be called a "great" horror classic. It's boring and it drags on forever, and to be honest im not big into the "devil". If this offends I am sorry, I k...

Re: Hunger Games!

I have them all on my Kindle but haven't started them yet, as I am hung up on EAT PRAY LOVE, think I have read it 3 times.
I have heard good things about this series but I am nervous about reading them.

Re: Sex scenes - yes or no?

It really depends, for me personally, on the style of writing. The author has to have good flow, and a good handle on what happens in real life, I don't know about you but I have never had my underwear torn from my body. Once sex becomes a joke I loose interest.

Re: how often do you guys read a book?

I read everyday sometimes all day and the second I finish one book I pick up another. I never stop reading. If it's not a book it's a comic or graphic novel. I also can't put one down without another one ready to go I constantly have a book on the go, since elementary school. Sometimes I read 2-3 b...

Re: Worst Books You've Ever Read

There are very few books that I can not find some beauty in, that doesn't mean I loved them all, some of them were not so great, some of them were so boring I could weep. When I was about 14 I read "The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle" - Mark W. Scott, and I must say, it was truely awf...

Re: Kindle Books

I love, love, love my Kindle. That being said, I too have a great love for my books. What I have been doing recently is reading a book on Kindle and if I really love it I will buy a copy and read it again. I am trying to cut down on the number of books I actually own, because they collect dust and m...

Re: Do you like Horror movies?

Horror movies are my very favourite, I also enjoy thrillers. In fact right now I am watching "Se7en" What I want to know is how many people have seen "Centipede" ... I am pretty sure that was the most horrifyingly disgusting movie I have ever seen. I also just finished reading &q...
