Re: Any Code Breakers?
Is it 'cheating' to have done a google search and found this site http://cslewis.drzeus.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=6345 with interesting commentary on the various obscure clues? I couldn't resist. I tend to think the clues were partially a way for Sunday to communicate his intimate knowledg...

Re: Militant Atheism
Looked at scientifically, there is no evidence for the historical existence of Jesus. The Gospels say their motive is to make people believe. This means their motive is not to provide an accurate record of facts. It is far more plausible that the church invented Christ than that he really lived. Yo...

Re: The Bible's Buried Secrets part II; Atheist Myth debunked and Israel Finkelstein proven wrong.
The restoration of Israel to its land is a remarkable turn of events which our generation has little appreciation for since we've never known it to be otherwise. The prophecies of Israel being restored as a nation are clearly in Scripture, regardless of whether we are given an actual date. It's a fu...

Re: Garden
Ahh.... all the gardening woes. For us, if it isn't too much rain and cold, it's slugs. This year the cold has kept them at bay, but then a bear walked across my new onion bed. (They've sure got big feet). I think we've re-routed him now, so will see what's next.... I'm all for rabbit stew. Don't he...

RT:"The authors that you mention lack true humility, because they assume their supernatural faith is true and apply circular reasoning to rationalize their assumptions." Robert, Have you read them? What evidence do you have that these authors have not examined their assumptions at least a...

Re: Garden
I need to take some updated pictures of the garden sometime. I'm just about to harvest my potatoes so I'll be making a video for that!!! :) Yay for potatoes. Digging them up is one of my favorite 'chores' in the garden. Treasure underground. I love it, esp. the pretty little red ones... Mine are on...

re: Camacho's Toe-MAY-Toe... No Way! That's incredible. 'Summer' only just began for us last Saturday with temps above 50! Lucky you! My tomatoes are just getting excited about warmth in the greenhouse. Time to put up some stakes. I have one Russian variety too but I think it's a gnarly purply varie...

Re: Sam Harris shows off his Bible Knowledge
'Christianity, even with it's Golden Rule summary, didn't extend that generosity to slaves or the practice of enslavement.' Might we be missing the point of the greater slavery that Jesus came to free us from? No physical bondage compares to this bondage all mankind shares in common: "Do you n...
