Prince was extremely talented and I'm definitely bummed about his death. I listened to him back in the 1980's and possibly 90's. If he had more recent music I knew nothing of it, but the older stuff was fantastic.

His purple reign over the music industry isn’t over yet. Prince leaves behind a cache of unreleased music so vast that his estate could put out a posthumous album every year for the next century.

Wow. Prince strikes me as an artist with explosive creativity, what takes other professional musicians several weeks he accomplished in 4 hours.
Chihuly is another one with such creativity - videos of him and his team in a studio show amazing glass works coming out of the oven seemingly every few minutes.
All this is astonishing to non-artists like myself...

Seems like a lot of celebrities are dying.

True crime writer and Patton Oswalt's wife, Michelle McNamera died as well. I didn't know her work, but Patton Oswalt is one of my favorite comedians.

Yes, so many music artists have died recently that is is quite saddening.

I sure hope Prince really does have a ton of never-released songs. Let us have them please!

He has a ton of unpublished music that will undoubtedly cause a litigation storm over publishing rights, etc.

From what ive heard he wrote on average two songs a day.
It will dwarf M J's catalogs.

I've heard the same. And I also learned that he wrote many popular songs that most people didn't know he wrote.

I've never been big Prince fan but:

I did get a kick out of this Arsenio interview with Prince.

I have a fond memory of this Prince song:

It occurs to me that perhaps I should relate the imagery:

Once upon a time...a stipper... while dancing to the Prince song made me feel as though I was the only man in the room...it was a extraordinary moment of fantasy.
