The Wilfred Owen poem certainly opposes the glorification of war as seen in some films and books.

I remember hearing about batalions of soldiers being told to leave their great-coats behind so that they could run faster and more were killed by the cold, in France, than by enemy fire.

I would be glad if you will post the E's, giselle, thankyou. We could have a break for a week if Liz and Frog agree.
Only those become weary of angling who bring nothing to it but the idea of catching fish.
