A bit of prose

Invasion

Here they come,
the three little men
that make my eyes sparkle
and my heart swoon.

Arms around the neck,
A snotty nose kiss.
Cookie?
What do you say? Peez.

The eyes search,
And find their mark.
A pretty Christmas tree
And ornaments to finger.

Baby rocks with Papa
The other two watch
A miracle on the griddle--
Pancakes. More peez.
