I would like to discuss "Wavering" by Virginia Frazier. One of the topics in the book hits on cyber-bullying/stalking, and that's something a lot of our teens are having to deal with in today's society.

By seasonally oriented, do you mean you would like to read a horror novel since it's almost time for Halloween?

Well, technically since it's for November and December, I think they're talking about winter holidays like Hannukah(sp?), Christmas, Winter Solstice, all that good stuff. Although I'm up for a horror novel.
Big bright accent, catty smile
Oscar Wilde confrontation
Ah, live like it's the style.

Oh, I see. I wasn't paying attention to the Nov/Dec headline. Okay, so wrong month, but right idea.

"The Road" is an excellent book, actually I love most everything by Cormac McCarthy. This novel has been mentioned many times on BT since publication as a potential book for discussion. It's a great choice. This is one I would re read, and I would enjoy hearing the thoughts of members regarding it. When I first read it, I was alone. :(

I read this book about 2 months ago, so I won't re-read it, but I'll certainly join in on the discussion, if the book is chosen.

Robertson Davies is one of my favorite authors. Several of his novels have been included in trilogies, but easily stand alone. I'm recommending The Cunning Man.

Allow me to be so shameless and self-serving as to suggest my own Saga; Blessings of the Father-Book One. This is a strong, feel-good storyline with vibrant characters, along with a powerful underlying message contained within each volume. Book One is a book about love and family, joy and loss, pain and pleasure…life and death. Read a sample: 5360564 http://www.amazon.com/Blessings-Father- ... 0595360564 Thank you for allowing me to suggest: Blessings of the Father - Book One by Mitch Reed.
