Song Of Myself

Unread post

I just snuck in a reading of Walt Whitman's Song of Myself between some projects that I am involved in. I have read this several times before.

While I cannot say that I get everything that Whitman was trying to convey here, this work is SO astounding.

This work is such an all encompassing,(mostly) positive, enthusiastic affirmation of life, nature, humanity, individuality, community, democracy cosmology and more!

What an exuberant view of the universe Whitman had.
