I just started the first book in the Josephine B. trilogy & I absolutely love it! It reads like a diary, only with historical footnotes. Its all about Josephine Bonaparte's life during the French Revolution. The first book is about her childhood, and her many struggles with her fist marriage. I believe as the trilogy moves along, she meets Napolean Bonaparte & falls in love, but I am only on the first book. One of my favorite movies is Marie Antoinette, which took place at the same time. Picking up this trilogy is like stepping back in time & I love learning about this specific era. I can't wait to finish the first book and move on to the second!
