A little detained here.

Unread post

I've detained myself, reading a fiction book called "Kiln People," by David Brin. But I'm sure that as soon as I'm done with this book I'll be able to dive right into reading the current book in the discussion!

I'm a little detained too. Some people call it a hangover. Happy New Year though... Actually, I didn't drink much last night and feel damn good. This book will make an excellent discussion and I sincerely hope it is one of our best to date.I'm going to hold off in contacting Karen Armstrong until we have quite a few people reading and discussing her book. Having three full months should help motivate more members to get involved. Please buy the book through the Amazon.com link on our Home page!!!Chris

So how much have you read of this book? Does the author remain as unbiased as possible when talking about all of the sects that are trying to say that their God is the true God?

I just started the Preface and Intro...but I like her already, especially after reading her bio that I posted. She seems a very open and honest person...only Chapters will tell though, huh?I gotta start reading more of this. My time is tight, which is why I am glad we extended the reading period to a quarter.Mr. P. The one thing of which I am positive is that there is much of which to be negative - Mr. P.I came to get down, I came to get down. So get out ya seat and jump around - House of PainHEY! Is that a ball in your court? - Mr. PI came to kick ass and chew Bubble Gum...and I am all out of Bubble Gum - They Live, Roddy Piper
