Wanted: One or two discussion leaders!

Unread post

Wanted: One or two discussion leaders! This discussion period doesn't "officially" start till December 1st, but now is an excellent time for us to find one or two members to take the roles of discussion leaders.Any volunteers? Don't make me call on you. And don't be nervous about being a discussion leader. All it means is that you are pledging to be active in the reading and discussion and will try to keep the conversation moving along. You don't have any other obligations. Not that this is required...but it would be nice if the person who suggested the book would volunteer to lead.Just my Mr. P. The one thing of which I am positive is that there is much of which to be negative - Mr. P.The pain in hell has two sides. The kind you can touch with your hand; the kind you can feel in your heart...Scorsese's "Mean Streets"I came to kick ass and chew Bubble Gum...and I am all out of Bubble Gum - They Live, Roddy Piper

Underwhelming response, huh? Let me read a few pages. If I think there's a good chance I'm going to really enjoy the book, I'll serve as discussion leader. But for the first fiction reading, I don't think it would help much to have a discussion leader who is either ambivalent or hostile to the book we're reading. I'm planning on starting tonight.

Once you get into it a bit I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Let me know if you want the discussion leader helmet passed your way.
