Re: Reading goals
I installed the app and there I set a goal of 50 books a year. That's enough for me so far, too much work. The kids at school keep reading diaries, whoever reads the most books gets a prize. Might as well do it for me.
Re: Reading goals
No, there is no such goal) I just read and enjoy my favorite books.
I think it's stupid to set goals for yourself. You're not a book athlete))) And you don't owe anything to anyone for speed)
My advice! Just relax and enjoy good.

Re: Reading goals
50 per year! That's nearly one per week. I'm happy if I read one per month. Actually, I'm happy if I read one per every three months.

Re: Reading goals
That's an impressive goal! If you come anywhere near that number you're doing well.
I've never counted the books I read per year but I will guess that it is about 10 - 15. The problem is I usually have several books going concurrently. That works with non-fiction since the subject matter is usually pretty unique, but with fiction, I tend to do only one at a time so I don't confuse the characters and storyline from one book, with the others.
I love the idea of setting reading goals for kids. That's probably going to help build the habit of reading, even for pleasure. Smart move.

Re: Reading goals
That's a reasonable goal.
