The Questions Nobody Asks: Where Do You Go From Here by Robert Mills

Unread post

The Questions Nobody Asks: Where Do You Go From Here by Robert Mills is a fascinating book. As stated in the foreword, “In today’s busy world people become so preoccupied with their day-to-day existence that they rarely have time to think.” In this book, Mills presents questions in four groups in such a way that they invite readers to think. These topics are (1) What about the world around you? (2) What about you? (3) What could change our world? and (4) What are the big questions? Within each group, there is a list of “what if” questions. Before writing the book, Mills did detailed research because the information has breadth and depth. Using his knowledge, he provides an insightful discussion followed by a list of references for each question.

I liked The Questions Nobody Asks by Robert Mills because it raises issues that we seldom think about during our ordinary daily life. These involve important matters that can change the world. Given the current geopolitical situation, I was particularly interested in the discussion of “What if Russia and China combined their power?” which was intriguing. In addition to the questions on politics, I was very pleased to see that the book contained many interesting spiritual concepts. I have a deep interest in spirituality and these questions and discussions truly nourished my soul. This is a recommended read for those interested in topics that are outside the mundane.
