OFFICIAL POLL: Vote on our next NON-FICTION book!
Below are 4 NON-FICTION book choices for our next group discussion.
You can vote for 1 or 2 of the 4 book options.
So select your top choice and then your second choice please. We'll be reading and discussing the book with the most total votes.
As soon as we have a clear winner we'll go with that 1 book for our next group discussion. When will the discussion start? We'll create a dedicated forum for the winning book as soon as we have enough people interested in one of these books. That could be in a few days or it could take several weeks if people don't vote promptly.
SIMPLE RULES:
We're not looking for book suggestions in this thread. We're only looking for votes on the 4 choices provided.
Please don't vote or even post in this thread if you don't currently have at least 10 posts on our forums. We're about to start a book discussion and we only allow active members to vote. We define "active" as having 10 or more quality posts on the forums. Please note that I said thread not forum. New members and authors are welcome to tell us about their books, just not here in this poll thread.
Change your vote at any point.
Pay attention to this poll and engage in any discussions people initiate on the 4 book choices. Watch for a clear winner to emerge.
Optional: Tell us why you voted the way you voted!

Re: OFFICIAL POLL: Vote on our next NON-FICTION book
All are excellent suggestions, but having to pick my top two, I voted for books 3 and 4.
I think the most important one is book 3: How to Read the Constitution and Why by Kim Wehle. The US may be starting to lose its foundation of democracy. Some folks who fancy themselves as constitutional experts have only memorized the 2nd Amendment including the placement of all commas, understanding next to nothing about the rest of it. Others cannot comprehend why President Jefferson wrote about "a wall of separation between church and state" since the 1st amendment does not contain that exact phrase. Few Americans are aware that the original constitution not only allowed slavery, but protected it. Etc. Etc...

We realized the Dawkins book doesn't get released until March of 2023.

I see the votes. Constitution has 4, and is in the lead. Roe has 3. I voted for Constitution.

Re: OFFICIAL POLL: Vote on our next NON-FICTION book
I can see the total number of people that voted for each book but I cannot see their actual usernames. In the past I have had the luxury of eliminating votes that were cast by people that were not qualified to vote.
