Re: Is there any book on African wisdom?
If you simply GOOGLE "African Wisdom" you will get numerous titles on the subject.
On the other hand, if you want to dig deeper into African culture, philosophy, behavior and ideas a good place to start might be, "African Culture: The Rhythms of Unity" by Molefi Kete Asante. This book is a collection of essays by some of the most influential scholars in African studies.
You could also go to the historian most responsible for providing the basis for the Afrocentric transformation. Cheikh Anta Diop. Some of his books: 'The African Origin of Civilization" and "Cultural Unity of Black Africa".

Re: Is there any book on African wisdom?
Sure. I have read quite a few. The book I read was literally called Wisdom from Africa. It contains a series of oral traditions. Now, the author could have presented these oral traditions as backward, but she tries to make the reader understand how thoughtful these traditions really are.

The Little Book of African Wisdom
Nothing reveals so much about a culture as the folklore and collective wisdom of its proverbs. This robust tradition, at its richest in Africa, is reflected in this gift book.
Patrick Igbokwe, who was born in Nigeria, spent ten years assembling the material for his Wit and Wisdom of Africa, from which a selection of the best has been included in this Little Book.
