Cyber expert says his team can’t prove Mike Lindell’s claims that China hacked election
The cyber expert on the “red team” hired by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell now says the key data underpinning the theory that China hacked the 2020 election unveiled at the Cyber Symposium is illegitimate.
...But cyber expert Josh Merritt, who is on the team hired by Mr. Lindell to interrogate the data for the symposium, told The Washington Times that packet captures are unrecoverable in the data and that the data, as provided, cannot prove a cyber incursion by China. “So our team said, we’re not going to say that this is legitimate if we don’t have confidence in the information,” Mr. Merritt said on Wednesday, the second day of the symposium.

Re: The Origins of QAnon (?)
Today is the 3rd day of the "cyber symposium" and uh-oh, Lindell's team leader says the data cannot prove the conspiracy theory! Perhaps Trump won't be installed as President tomorrow after all...

Re: The Origins of QAnon (?)
The so-called “cyber symposium” put on by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell in Sioux Falls, S.D. caught fire and crash-landed on Thursday, bringing three days of sheer boredom and weirdness to a predictably unsatisfying close.
...At its most compelling, Lindell’s oratory style is something akin to bad beat poetry and, at its worst, resembles the dronings of a lawn mower.

Re: The Origins of QAnon (?)
I just watched a segment on CNN about this symposium. What a jackass. He has nothing but fantasies to back his wild assertions. I hope he pays dearly for the slander and libel of Dominion.

Re: The Origins of QAnon (?)
I was right to predict violence before the Jan. 6 vote count.
I was wrong to fear violence after Mike Lindell's "Cyber Symposium" failed to install Trump as President on 8/13. Possibly less violence due to all the prosecutions of those at the Capital on Jan. 6.
But now there's a new threat of violence, a "Justice for J6" rally on 9/18 to free the "political prisoners" from that riot.

Ex-FBI official says law enforcement needs to take upcoming right-wing rally in DC 'very seriously'
Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe said Monday evening that law enforcement needs to take the upcoming right-wing rally in support of jailed January 6 rioters "very seriously" as concerns mount about more potential violence on Capitol Hill. "I think they should take it very seriously. In fact, they should take it more seriously than they took the same sort of intelligence that they likely saw on January 5," McCabe, a CNN contributor, told CNN's Poppy Harlow on "Erin Burnett OutFront." Law enforcement members in Washington are steeling themselves against possible unrest at the "Justice for J6" rally -- planned for September 18 -- which aims to support the insurrectionists charged in the riot.

Well, it came and went, with 100 attending, including a Trumpista named Joe Kent hoping to unseat a Republican who voted for the second impeachment. Hard to tell where this foolishness is going.LanDroid wrote: But now there's a new threat of violence, a "Justice for J6" rally on 9/18 to free the "political prisoners" from that riot.
A much more ominous number was in a poll saying 92% of Republicans now say the last election was illegitimate.

For what it's worth, Robert David Steele is no longer with us. Not surprisingly, he was also a covid-denier. So, take a wild guess what happened; yep, he died of covid earlier this month. Good riddance to his hateful, sadistic, racist, Holocaust-denying ass. Sorry, to all you bleeding hearts--I don't feel the tiniest bit bad about this. Too bad it didn't happen earlier.
