I sometimes use Post It notes. They stick to the page you left off and don't fall out.

Re: What do you use as a bookmark?
Being an author I use my own bookmarks! I seem to have over-ordered.

Re: What do you use as a bookmark?
I use whatever is handy. Often I have post it notes handy. I fold them over so they aren't sticky.
When I am reading a book with the intent of telling someone about specific passages I use the same post it notes to stick the page.

Re: What do you use as a bookmark?
Earlier when we used to order books from Amazon they had bookmark within it but these days they come only with bills. So, I use the bill as a bookmark, or sometimes the used credit card holder (that transparent card holder) can be used as a bookmark.

Honestly I just try to remember the page, forget, re-read a bunch of passages until something jogs my memory. - Gustavo Woltmann

Anything that works.
I have used the "Last Line" bookmark. Great for leaving off in the middle of a section or chapter. But I prefer not to spend money on bookmarks.
Also used to use book darts to save passages without writing in margins or notes.
Not sure if either of these are still on the market. Let's me see..

I learned something new. I had to look them up.Mr. Pessimistic wrote:book darts
When it comes to bookmarks, I've used napkins, business cards, junk mail, etc. Seldom have I used an actual bookmark.
