I would wager a modest amount that if Trump wins the Dems will not accept the results.
What makes you say that? Bush vs. Gore in 2000? Trump vs. Clinton in '16? Shoe's on the other foot.

Or, let's not and say we did. I don't think there is anything wrong with Biden's mind. He speaks deliberately to overcome his tendency to stutter. He is generally not very charismatic, although he does better than Trump sticking to a teleprompter, which is as dull as any politician ever. He has slowed down a little, from his more telegenic days in the 80s and 90s, but by all reports he was doing a great job as Veep just 4 years ago.

You mentioned listening to his advisers. One of my big takeaways from my years in the Office of Management and Budget was that a boss who is not asking questions is not taking in the information. Considering our Dear Leader managed not to notice that Russian bounties were being paid to the Taliban for killing American troops, we're going to get a lot more mental acuity from Biden than we ever got from Trump. Of course, he tends not to notice it when Putin does anything inconvenient, but the insiders' tell-alls confirm that he is deaf to a whole lot of stuff, not just to accusations against his master.

I mean, ultimately it comes down to people of color reminding people about racism when they conveniently forget about it.

Who here remembers Joe Biden's blatant racist comment he made about Obama when he was running for president and later tried to, umm, clean up on The Daily Show

Biden on Obama:
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.”
Clean???

Articulate??

Carry on, please.

Reading for four years about Russian conspiracies that Trump is really their operative.
And of course self identified democratic voters constantly crying "NOT MY PRESIDENT" all over social media.

It all got old fast.

If they lose again none of us will hear the end of it.

Whoops! I confess I fail to track the connection to cognitive impairment. Ultimately? Do you really think so? Ultimately? With record high unemployment and 60,000 deaths that could have been avoided, ultimately it comes down to reminders of racism? I must be really dense.

Sounds like something Joe Rogan would say, doesn't it? But that's the catch. You can put up someone who is less than careful with comments coming from white privilege, if the alternative is a guy who retweets "White Power" and says White Nationalists are very fine people. And it might even help to have a little excess political incorrectness, to make white fragility feel more at ease so people can focus on health care and health pandemics.

Overall, subgroups who normally approve of Trump’s job as president, were the most likely to believe Biden could be suffering from dementia,” the poll found. “Thus, majorities of Republicans (77% more likely/23% less likely) and Independents (56% more likely/44% less likely) thought Joe Biden had early-onset dementia; while nearly a third of Democrats (32% more likely/68% less likely) thought this was the case.”
Do you really think there wouldn't be a partisan divide on this issue?
Are you going to continue to mischaracterize and attempt to do my thinking here or would you like me to point out your non sequitur?
Well, you linked to a poll that says 55% of Americans believe Biden suffers from dementia. And that this is your belief as well. I merely pointed that there's a strong partisan bias in this poll. If there's a non sequitur there, by all means point it out.

If you conducted a similar poll of Americans who believe Trump is cognitively deficient, I would wager you'd get similar results.

There are other problems with such polls, mainly that what people believe is frequently at odds with the truth. You can find polls that show a surprising number of people reject evolution and believe the earth is 6,000 years old. Anti-vaxxers, birtherism . . . it's a sad state of affairs. We have access to so much knowledge and, yet, Americans seem to be getting dumber all the time.

Now THERE'S a picture that inspires confidence.

Kamala Harris. What can you say? She began her rise to power when she was 29. Became the mistress of 60-year-old politician Willie Brown, who was married. She took a knee before it became fashionable.

She comes from a slave-owning family of Jamaicans / Indians. She believes Joe Biden is racist, and a rapist. She said young people are stupid and that's why they need to vote (Democrat). On an on. Admittedly Biden didn't have much to pick from among the field of running mates, but Harris is a pathetic choice. A foul individual.

Tulsi Gabbard should have been the nominee, either for pres or vice-pres. Here she is in one of the debates just touching on the high points (or low points) of Harris' legal career.

"Everybody knows who Donald Trump is. Even his supporters know who he is. We gotta let them know who we are. We choose unity over division. We choose science over fiction. We choose truth over facts!" -- Joe Biden, Iowa, 2019

Biden: “We Choose Truth Over Facts”

That video's from a year ago. Compare it to more recent pieces. Biden was no orator back then, but the decline is scary. Will he even survive to the election? The Democrats are running a hologram from a basement for president.

Four devastating new ads from the Trump campaign. The first one, "The Bidening," may be as effective an ad as I've ever seen in a presidential campaign:

‘THE BIDENING’: Trump Campaign Releases 5 Devastating Ads Hitting Biden
scoopyweb.com/2020/08/the-bidening-trum ... ses-5.html

And the other day Jill Biden's first husband said that Joe broke up their home. Joe's story has been that they met on a first date, la-dee-da storybook stuff. But apparently he's a homewrecker and she was cheating:

Joe and Jill Lied: Jill’s Ex Claims She Had an Affair with Joe
thegatewaypundit.com/2020/08/joe-jill-l ... lind-date/

Biden is such a disaster that they'll probably try to shift attention to Kamala Harris. But she's a disaster as well. The Trump ads will use her record to eviscerate her.

Which leaves voting fraud as the Dems' best hope. The Dems will use nationwide mail-in voting to cloud results and claim that Trump lost. They shouldn't have pushed Russiagate so hard. Boy who cried wolf and all that. And they really need to abandon the murder and mayhem planks of their platform.

Joe Biden Says "I’m Joe Biden’s husband, Joe Biden.”

Damn, Dems. Couldn't you come up with anything better than Biden? His first debate is in a month. This makes me nervous. His handlers obviously can't let him talk at length in front of a live audience, so the debate will have to be derailed. Time for a terrorist attack? As if we don't have plenty of those going on already in the Democrat-controlled cities. But they'll need something BIG to serve as a reason to cancel the debate. A state funeral? Jimmy Carter? It surprises me that George W. Bush is still alive, given what he knows about government involvement with the September 11 attacks. Carter would raise fewer eyebrows, due to his age, and Biden could phone in some rousing eulogy from his bunker. All of the asswipes from the Dem convention could have another go at Trump, too. If I were Carter I'd be looking over my shoulder.

At any rate, after the debates we have the election. The Dems are working hard to foul the process with mail-in voting. One of my favorite stories lately:

Far-Left Morons Show Up in Person Outside Postmaster General’s Home to Protest Against Casting Their Votes in Person in November (VIDEO)
(They say that voting in person is too dangerous because of the Wuhan virus, yet they mob together to protest.)

And the Democratic Convention...what can you say. So lame. Bill Clinton lectured about ethics. Here are some pictures of him that came out the other day. The young woman massaging his shoulders was 22 at the time (years ago), but she later filed statutory rape charges against pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. In the airport photos Clinton was on his way to Epstein's Pedophile Island:

I guess all of this adds up to the end of Donald Trump. But it seems we've heard that before:

So you honestly judge that Biden did an awful job in his acceptance speech last night? Honestly? You can't even give with one hand and take away with the other? That reaction, if it's yours, just interests me.
Four devastating new ads from the Trump campaign. The first one, "The Bidening," may be as effective an ad as I've ever seen in a presidential campaign:
"The Bidening" was weird, that's for sure. Won't people remark on its lack of substance, though? I hope we don't see similar ads on Trump from Democrats. There's no need for special effects, after all, with the archive of 3 1/2 years of Trump footage to simply show.
And the other day Jill Biden's first husband said that Joe broke up their home. Joe's story has been that they met on a first date, la-dee-da storybook stuff. But apparently he's a homewrecker and she was cheating:
I care very little about Donald Trump's dalliances with a porn star and a centerfold. Same with this regarding Biden's marital background, whatever the truth may be. Trump's people may know that to go with this story only draws attention to their man's peccadillos. And it could be the same with Biden's supposed brain problem and incoherence, Biden's children, his finances, or any other area Trumpublicans might think of mining: their own guy is very vulnerable on the same scores.
I see. The tactic here is to charge Democrats with the very thing--undermining the election--that Trump wants to do, a way of covering tracks. I don't know what the murder and mayhem plank is, but Democrats do need to have a strong position against provocateurs in several cities looting, setting fires, hurting people.

Beside all that, here's an honest question:

Can someone tell me how I'd be able to tell if his speech was not pre-recorded?

Thanks
