What to read next?
In the absence of God, I found Man.
-Guillermo Del Torro
Are you pushing your own short comings on us and safely hating them from a distance?
Is this the virtue of faith? To never change your mind: especially when you should?
Young Earth Creationists take offense at the idea that we have a common heritage with other animals. Why is being the descendant of a mud golem any better?

Re: What to read next?
It all depends on what you like in a book. For me Im reading The River Lake by James Patterson and is about children who have wings and are surrounded by paparazzi and they are trying to find a cure. Most of James Patterson books are based on a secret organization and finding a cure to whatever he wrote down. in the book.
Currently Reading - Daisy War Chain.

You might try the Maximum Ride series. It is a basically young adult fiction, and follows the adventures of the children you mentioned.
