Post Re: 173 Declared Democratic Presidential Candidates
Is Donald Trump a racist? Affirming that appears to be required for the Democratic candidates. For a while, it seemed that opposition politicians and media commentators were holding off on that judgment. Then, with the next racially-charged statement Trump made, more of them said the hell with it, we can now just say he's a racist, and we need to make that clear.

I don't think that's the best way to go, labeling someone as if there is a known threshold, beyond which a person is a racist, and thinking it important to assign a label. We'll never be able talk to those we disagree with if our opening is, "Trump is a racist." That's a way to maintain polarization, not get past it. We should be talking about deeds (which include words), and when we do we're obliged to cite the specifics of Trump's statements and our view of how they divide the country along racial lines, threatening the social progress made in the past 50 years. It's not important, really, whether Trump condemning first a district of Baltimore and then the whole city issued from a deep core of racism. The same goes for his targeting "the squad." Given our history, the attacks will be interpreted as racially motivated. Not being a student even of recent history, Trump doesn't appreciate that.

I tend to believe that Trump allows his visceral feelings around poverty, dirt, decay, poor sanitation, etc., to dictate some of his politics. That combines with a lack of empathy for people stuck with such conditions, who happen most often to be minorities. Wouldn't he offer to help if he cared about them? He would probably say that he blames the Democrat leaders, not the people themselves. Again, we don't know for certain what's in his heart, but we have seen the divisive effect on the country of his actions.

Late edit: with the two mass shootings now in the background, one most probably the work of a white nationalist, we'll be hearing that liberals are blaming President Trump for that slaughter. But listen carefully. There is a difference between blaming Trump for a specific act and saying that his words could have given encouragement to deranged individuals like the El Paso killer. That "could have" is a serious charge in itself.

History does show that there isn't much point in trying to apply civilised debate and rationale to racists and fascists. They are the way they are exactly because they reject such discussions and are more than willing to entangle and destabilise resistance to them by using their trademark hysterical and fear mongering belligerence. It's not a free speech issue.

Post Re: 173 Declared Democratic Presidential Candidates
Trump's no more a racist than the next person. Probably less so because he does business with so many types of people. He criticizes where criticism is due, and the leftists in America have been trained to call that racism. They've completely abandoned MLK's dream of judging by the content of character rather than the color of skin. And Barack Obama (also known as Barry Soetoro), led the way in that shift away from MLK. Obama's the most profound racist I've ever seen in national politics. He never made a speech (that I heard or read), where he didn't mention skin color or race, and he worked overtime to add racial components to all of the legislation destined for his desk in the White House.

But Obama's racism is calculated. Murdering terrorist Bill Ayers was his mentor, and Ayers believes that America needs a good race war. He said so when he was with the Weather Underground. So when he took Obama under his wing and launched his political career...well we know what ideals he passed on. As president Obama spent eight years attempting to start race riots, promoting the murder of police and so on. The Bill Ayers mindset.

Somebody defended FactCheck.org back there. The site is run by the Annenberg Foundation. The Annenberg Foundation gave tens of millions to Bill Ayers and Obama for leftist propagandizing in Chicago's public schools.

duckduckgo.com/?q=ayers+obama+annenberg ... amp;ia=web

The Democratic candidates' grandstanding over the dead from this weekend's high-profile shootings was one of the more despicable things I've seen in a while. One of the shooters was an Elizabeth Warren / Antifa guy, and the other was an over-the-top environmentalist. But to hear the leftist-controlled media tell the story, the bloodshed was all about white supremacy. No mention of the equal number of blacks shot in Chicago over the weekend. Elizabeth Warren and her peers in the Democratic presidential race are so negative. They tell people that the world will end in ten years, that all white people are bad and so on. They spread hate and fear with every utterance. Really despicable. And they're driving their followers to violence.

Somebody back there praised the rat-infested Democratic cities for their art galleries. Forget the rats, the cities have great art. Here's a picture of the owner of an art gallery in New York City. The art lovers there didn't like his hat:

Image

A New York business owner says he was assaulted due to his baseball cap — a red “Make America Great Again” hat.

According to Jahangir “John” Turan, the owner of an art gallery in the famed Billionaire’s Row district, he had just purchased the hat earlier that day at Trump Tower when a group of young people, aged 18-20, stopped him on Canal Street on the way to a meeting.

“I was walking on Canal, it was some sort of event. And, I got jumped for wearing this hat,” he said in an interview, sporting a swollen eye. “They started cursing at me, You know, they said, ‘Trump hat, blah blah blah,’ and basically one kid took my head and bashed it against the scaffolding poll. It all happened within 10 seconds. I jumped out, crossed the street, and called the cops. That’s my situation right now.

All the while, they were saying “Fuck Trump,” and other derogatory remarks referencing the US president.

“It’s sad to get beat up for wearing this hat. This is America,” Turan said...

newswars.com/nyc-art-gallery-owner-atta ... -maga-hat/

Talk show host Michael Savage comes from Russian immigrants. He's a Jew, originally from New York City, and now lives in San Francisco. He's studied WW2 extensively, and he draws some interesting parallels between that time in Europe and America today.

He says that in the decadent Weimar Republic, in Germany, Hitler's Brownshirts were a reaction to the outrages of the communists. And he sees the same pattern here. The Democrats are acting batshit crazy, and eventually America might welcome a fascist government that will restore order.

He also compares what is happening to white people in America to what happened to the Kulaks under Stalin. Kulaks were farmers, and Stalin demonized them. Blamed them for lots of social ills, thus giving people in the Soviet Union a target to attack. The Kulaks were killed, deprived of property and so on.

I don't question that what happened to Mr. Turan is inexcusable. What I do question is that this historical moment is defined by hatred of whites, which is likely to lead to hate crimes against white people, as Savage claims. How can he be cognizant of events around us and make that claim?

As for FactCheck, an allegation about the parent organization's past funding decision doesn't have much to do with the performance of an entity currently funded by the Annenberg Foundation. There's a great deal of this guilt-by-weak-association thinking out there. Genetic fallacy, again.

Whether Trump is a racist isn't the issue. The issue is whether his words have stoked hatred of immigrants to the point where losers wanting to be heroes to their community feel encouraged to kill the invaders.

I am often struck by the desperate defensiveness of deeply partisan conservatives in the face of the fact checkers. Any bit of what-aboutism or smear will do to discredit (in their own minds) what they have learned to fear for its accuracy. In these latter days of our steep degeneration, this defensiveness allies itself with paranoid denialist fantasy worldviews, because facing up to the height and depth and breadth of the lies would be tantamount to capitulation.

The liberal bias of factuality is getting stronger by the week, because the other side has so thoroughly run away from any ties to it.

"The liberal bias of factuality." What'd Biden say this week? "We choose truth over facts!" That's one thing I have to give today's leftists...they're demented from the bottom to the top.

I don't see a thread on gun control here, so I guess it's time to start one. I'll work on that now. But here's the current mindset of American leftists:

Image

Yes, "Death Camps for Trump Supporters Now!!!" These were posted around New York City this week. Posted by "inclusive" leftists.

I get the feeling that Democrats are once again operating under the assumption that their candidate will win the next presidential election. They thought that Clinton would get it in 2016, so in the lead up to that election Obama and a bunch of his underlings broke the law by spying on Trump. They thought their activities would never come to light. One of Trump's biggest mistakes is that he didn't (or hasn't yet) prosecuted the people involved in the coup against him. True, the coup only breathed its last with the fiasco of Mueller's appearance before congress a couple of weeks ago, but Trump needs to move on these traitors, and quickly. They're already redirecting their tinfoil hordes from the hoax of Russiagate to the hoax of White Supremacy. Maybe Trump expects these sheeple to be capable of rational thought, and if so he's giving them too much credit.

Anyway, the Dims seem to think that their constant chorus of death threats is forgivable, as if they expect comrade Sanders or comrade Warren to scatter Get Out of Jail Free cards like confetti.

Post Re: 173 Declared Democratic Presidential Candidates
This has been the most interesting couple of weeks in American politics that I've ever seen.

Let's see...On July 29 Obama's Antifa announced that it would be in El Paso on September 1, for ten days of confrontation with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). The event is being called "Border Resistance Convergence." Antifa says, “We are calling on affinity groups everywhere to come together and help us address US-funded genocide and local concentration camps.”

Image

Then on July 30-31 we had the second round of the Democratic debates, where all of the candidates revealed themselves once again to be insane. And this time, polls on the day after showed a zero percent chance of the Dems beating Trump. It was obvious that the Democrats needed to shake things up

High point of the debates--Gabbard DESTROYS Harris
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cfp_IIdVnXs

On August 1 we were treated to:

Exclusive: FBI document warns conspiracy theories are a new domestic terrorism threat
news.yahoo.com/fbi-documents-conspiracy ... 00507.html

So, Antifa's not a terrorist threat, but "conspiracy theories" are. That was a really odd piece of news, so odd that it was obviously a harbinger. Something big was coming up.

Then we got a big event on August 3, with the shooting in El Paso. After which we were fed sooo many lies by the mainstream media. Chief among the lies is that the El Paso shooter was a "lone gunman." Witnesses say otherwise:

youtube.com/watch?v=6HZTxgcShfI&fea ... e=youtu.be

The FBI immediately took over the El Paso investigation (cover-up), and then within hours we had the Ohio shooting. The man who did that one was a leftist, Antifa, Elizabeth Warren supporter. But now he's been lumped into the "white supremacist" hoax and we're supposed to go along unquestioningly.

Image

So we had a week of the political opportunists raising campaign funds by calling Trump a racist and demonizing guns, and then we got a HUGE dump of documents concerning incarcerated pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The documents implicate a who's who of elites, even a member of the British royal family. So for a day things looked good for The Truth, but bad for "our faves" mentioned by Nancy Pelosi's daughter.

duckduckgo.com/?q=pelosi%27s+daughter+e ... amp;ia=web

And then, alas, the day after the Epstein documents were released...he died. NOBODY thinks he passed without a little help from, whomever, but the media is telling us that we need to believe he suicided himself. Bill Clinton flew on Epstein's Lolita Express 26 documented times, and Hill herself may have been along on some of the rides. Bill once said that she'd had more p***y than he had. I bet the Clintons talked about transparency a thousand times in their miserable careers, so they couldn't have been involved in Epstein's death, could they? Though for a day after Epstein died, "Clinton Body Count" was the number 1 searched term on Google. According to the FBI, all of the people who performed that search are terrorists.

Image

Meanwhile, Trump's sanctions against China have led to that country cutting off imports of American agricultural products. That happened while all of the above was going on. The Chinese vowed not to import any more food from the US even though they're currently slaughtering half of their pigs due to contagion. Europe has reduced food exports to China, and US ally India's move into Kashmir will result in shortages of food, energy and water in China. China is on the verge of great suffering and they just WANT TRUMP GONE so they can go back to being the brat of the United Nations. So the Chinese political arm in the US (the Democratic Party, Hollywood and the Big Tech corporations), are doing what they can to remove Trump. Universal was going to release a movie about hunting Trump supporters but they've shelved the project for now:

Image

Fascinating times. I look forward to Sept 1. Our Lieutenant Governor has told Antifa to stay out of Texas, but I kind of hope they're stupid enough to show up. The FBI infiltrates all of those groups, so maybe the Texas Rangers can arrest some FBI agents who are trying to incite terrorism. The FBI has a long, long history of infiltrating and inciting:

Post Re: 173 Declared Democratic Presidential Candidates
Trump wants the US to buy Greenland. That is so...freaking...brilliant. The leftist news machine was caught flat-footed by that one. They were absolutely dumbfounded. The US has acquired territory through purchase before, so why not now, with Greenland? The place is about to become strategically important with the Russian and Chinese interest in the Arctic, and Denmark's hardly in a position to defend it against those powers, so why not make some money off of it? THIS is the benefit of having Trump in office...for the vision. While the Democrats snipe about shades of skin color, Trump wants to buy a piece of land equal in size to the Louisiana Purchase. The Dems death cult vs Trump's expansive optimism. Absolutely brilliant.

And the leftist rags have been pushing Elizabeth Warren as some kind of economic jeenyus lately. She's telling us that something bad is coming, economically. Well, duh. You can't run up debt forever and expect to avoid the bill. The Dems and their 90% ownership of the news media are suddenly saying that we're headed for hard times and Trump's to blame. They're selling this news as a way to help win the 2020 presidential election. They're hoping for pension crashes and the deaths of millions so that they can regain the white house. They're ghouls.

And the leftist New York Times is now going all in to sell the Trump Is A Racist hoax. Their senior editor admits it:

NYT shifts from Russiagate to racism, insisting Orange Man Still Bad
rt.com/op-ed/466685-nytimes-trump-racis ... ranscript/

Look at the statements in that piece. Editor Baquet admits that they sold a lie with Russiagate (and proudly won two Pulitzer prizes for reporting the lie as truth), and now they need to use the same process to mold their reporting around "Trump is a racist." The NYT is supposed to be reporting the news, not shaping it. The NYT admits with this story that it is Fake News.

Cockamamie, more like. Arrogant as hell, too. This president has little idea how to effectively approach the many problems facing the U.S. and world, so he tries to shift to new, and absurd, ground to distract from his incompetence. If the public happened to be polled on this "proposal," the favorables would be in low single digits. Even Trump diehards would laugh this off as Trump being Trump. Such flourishes of his are part of his charm, for his base. But the base doesn't take him seriously on everything.

If Trump could secure a big fat loan from Deutsche Bank and buy Greenland, then default on the loan, as he has done several times before, he can then give Greenland to America as a parting gift when his term ends (hopefully sooner than later).

What's the estimated price tag I saw for Greenland $1.7 Trillion? It's almost like Trump admits "F-it I cannot get infrastructure done for the USA - I give up - let's spend it all on Greenland!"

:btw: Has anyone made sure Trump understands Greenland is the icy one and Iceland is the green one?

Well, certainly Trump is not going to accept responsibility if the economy goes south. He's already blaming the Fed for not cutting interest rates fast enough. He blames the leftist media too for reporting the facts that there are indicators of a recession coming. If you cut interest rates now when the economy is "doing great", what will happen when we do go into a recession? Maybe Harry can explain some of this economic stuff for us.

But recall how Trump was crying "rigged election" even before he was elected president. He will blame everybody and everything when the shit hits the fan. He would throw his own grandmother under the bus to save face. His tariff war didn't work out as he planned, but then he went about it in unilateral fashion, much the same that George W. got us into the Iraq War. He's doing Putin's bidding even without realizing it. What a big dope he is.

My favorite recent incident from the campaign. Fascist New York City mayor Bill DeBlasio phoned his speech in. I mean, what could go wrong? Hilarious. Short video:

De Blasio’s Campaign Implosion Continues As His Iowa Audio Goes Terribly Wrong

It looks like a couple of people may challenge Trump for the Republican nomination, and that's good. In a two-party system ANY expanded choice of candidates is good.
