Re: What is your cozy spot to read?
I was expecting a viral thread, but I see no activity here.
Yesterday, I came across an article about best spots to read for a book lover. http://www.heritagehomedesign.ca/blog/t ... ook-lover/ I loved the 3rd picture in it. In my house, there is no window that points to nature. I liked it very much.
I would like to set the space on the stairway window as the reading spot. In fact, that is the best spot in my house.
What are your thoughts on this?

Well, mine is pretty much by default. One of two sofas in my living room, with a floor lamp beisde it for illumination, and a small stereo nearby playiing (sfotly) classical or jazz (depending on my mood) for background music. On the coffee table is a hot or cold drink (depending on the season and weather), and maybe a snack.

Re: What is your cozy spot to read?
In my local library, there is one cozy chair that is just perfect. Mainly when it is about 6.00 PM the library closes (by this I mean that staff goes home, but doors stay unlocked) and almost everyone goes home with a few exceptions. I usually go to read there at that time.
Another place where I like to read is my room. This is because in my room I have one of those classic lounge chairs (just google "classic lounge chair - brown" and you see what I am talking about). That too is very comfortable.
The things that in my opinion makes a good place to read has these qualities:
- noise proof walls
- good coffee nearby
- good lighting
- window nearby
- comfortable chairs
