The gloves are off in this hard-hitting teenage noir when sixteen year-old David Malek claps back at the stifling routine and strict rules of his boarding academy Aston Hall and sneaks out to see Megan Harris, a girl he barely knows. But the rules of his old life follow him out into the world when he is pursued by 'The Fat Man', Mr Backus, a boarding master with nothing else to do and a blunt axe to grind when it comes to the matter of David's existence.
After royally screwing things up with Megan followed by a dangerous encounter with The Fat Man, David flees the scene throwing any further caution to the wind by declaring 'the end of all things' and embarking on one last weekend of good friends, hard-drinking and a desperate mission to lose his virginity before having to return to Aston Hall for his final reckoning and certain expulsion from boarding school.
With all of this in mind David throws himself into his final night of freedom with absolute abandon. Yet fate, it seems, has other plans for him, as he battles his way through a cavalcade of dark secrets, jealous rivalries, betrayal and tragedy to discover the terrible secret lurking behind the eyes of the only true friend he has left.
