Dear Booktalk friends,
My new book “Boundaries of Freedom” is now available on Amazon (and Barnes and Noble.com). Since there are books with similar title, one needs to type in “Boundaries of freedom thai” (with the author’s name). Otherwise, here is the link.

Here is the preface of the book.
Dear Readers,
The problem of God’s sovereignty/man’s free will and the related problem of evil have troubled me since my early days as a Christian. How could a good and loving God decree (Calvinism) or permit (Arminianism) all the unspeakable evils in this world (e.g., the Holocaust)? Who is responsible for the mass murders, child abuses, and pregnancies from rape that we hear about every day? The sovereign Lord or men with free will? Did God foreordain the Columbine High School shooting and the 2017 Las Vegas massacre? Or were they the results of men exercising their freedom to commit horrendous evils?
Although I was a full-time physician, I decided to go to seminary (part-time over eight years) to get some resolutions for my nagging questions. Little did I realize that none of my professors knew the answers either! The quandary of God’s sovereignty and Man’s free will has plagued Christendom for almost two thousand years. The proposed solutions (Calvinism, Arminianism, Molinism, and Open Theism) caused further dissensions in the Church rather than helped unite the body of believers.
With a background in science, I have endeavored to look at the problem from a different perspective. Was the conundrum a result of Man’s faulty reasoning? Were there any fallacies in the claim that God decreed or permitted the evils we experience in this world?
This book is the result of a painstaking research spanning over a decade. If you ever wonder whether God preordained our horrendous pains and sufferings, whether He will change His mind in response to our desperate prayers, or whether we are doomed to whatever fate He predetermined for us, the Quantum Proposal will supply the needed answers using Scriptures from both the Old and New Testaments.
In science, any new proposal needs to be peer-reviewed prior to publication, especially concerning a problem that has eluded the best efforts of scholars for centuries. In that spirit, Dr. Randal Roberts, the president of Western Seminary, Dr. Gerry Breshears, Professor of Theology at Western, and Dr. John DelHousaye of Phoenix Seminary were kind enough to review the manuscript and give me their endorsements. I would like to thank them for their advice and support. Vickie, my wife of thirty-four years, and my two (engineer) children, Daniel and Joshua have provided me with valuable help and feedback. Thank you!
Finally, I would like to dedicate this book to you, my readers, with the hope that we may all “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18).
Also, Booktalk friends, proceeds from the book will be donated to charity. Repost this to your friends if you are so inclined. Enjoy the reading!

You are suggesting a non-fiction book so this post is being moved to the proper forum.
