Right this minute I am done with The Left Hand Of Darkness by Ursula K. Guin and, right now (really!), I am beginning my new read: The Blind Assissin by Margaret Atwood.

Re: What are you currently reading?
Interesting coincidence, crios, as I also just completed "The Left Hand of Darkness." An older book, but a good one. Currently (not unusual for me to be reading more than one book at once), I am reading "The Traveling Cat Chronicles," by Hiro Arikawa. Originally written in Japanese, I am reading the translation by Philip Gabriel. Deeper than the title sounds, I may recomment it for discussion in the Fiction Book forum.

Crios and Cattleman, we discussed The Left Hand of Darkness back in 2010. The discussion was not very active but you always could add your thoughts to the forum.

I'm just added a non-fiction book to my current reading mix: Einstein: His Life and Universe by Walter Isaacson.

Re: What are you currently reading?
Just finished Finding Purpose in a Godless World - by Ralph Lewis. Gotta go back and make some comments...
Currently reading The View from Flyover Country: Dispatches from the Forgotten America by Sarah Kendzior. It's about conditions in American that lead to President Trump.
I also enjoyed In Cold Blood. As I recall right 'round the time I read it, they made TWO movies about those events. Strange.
Here's a book I have that appears similar to the one by the Dalai Lama above. Awake at Work: 35 Practical Buddhist Principles for Discovering Clarity and Balance in the Midst of Work's Chaos by Michael Carroll. First time I tried it I was in a job that was WAY too stressful, had to leave for self preservation. May be able to give that book another try now.
