Post Re: Prayer and Encouragement discussion board
I am praying hard for your friend, Jan, that she is covered in God's peace and be strengthened in hope. And I hope she can feel just how close our Lord is to her, his beloved daughter.

We have been going to doctors and I have had MRI's and will know more at the end of the month. Please pray for me I always tried to take care of myself health wise and financially and now I cannot believe what I am going through. Thank God I have my great friend in NY.

I'm so sorry that results to one of your tests was recently received and indicates early onset Alzheimer's. Am praying this is not a final diagnosis and that there will be a much less severe and treatable follow-up diagnosis. In the meantime I pray that God's peace, the peace which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:7.

It is amazing how the Lord provided for you by rekindling a friendship with a friend in NY back in 2016, then you moved from TX where you lived alone to your friend's place in NY in August of 2017. Now you are not alone and have someone special by your side to navigate these uncertain waters together. Praise God for His incredible provision and grace! 2 Cor 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

Update 2/8/18: There is a possibility that the MRI results do not indicate early onset Alzheimer's. She will be going to a different neurologist next week to have the MRI results interpreted.

Lord I lift up those for whom this new year has started off with jobs being eliminated. May this time of unemployment be a blessing in disguise in which You provide for them and lead them in the in the direction You want them to go.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

Post Re: Prayer and Encouragement discussion board
Lifting up in prayer the U.S. communities affected by the 18 school shootings this year, the most current being today in Broward County Florida. Lord we pray for this to end right here, right now, on Ash Wednesday, 2018, the first day of the Lenten season during which we prepare our hearts to receive You on Easter/Resurrection Sunday. Comfort the families affected by these senseless acts of violence, including the shooters' families, and relieve the pain and discomfort of the injured and heal them. Heal these communities and raise up leaders in every community in the U.S. to guide us to right the wrongs that caused this sickness in our society. Arise, LORD! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless. Psalms 10:12
