The Twelve Children Of Paris by Tim Willocks

Unread post

This is Part 2 of the Tannhauser Trilogy. Part 1 was The Religion (2006). Both novels are set in late 16th Century Europe, the first one during the siege of Malta in 1565, #2 in Paris during the slaughter of the Huguenots in August, 1572.. I am an avid fan of historical novels but these two have blown me away! Tim Willocks has reinvented the historical novel with these. They are really spellbinding and I would highly recommend them to any history book fan.

It's hard to put them down after you start. Warning: the gore level is pretty high but you have to consider the times.
