Let's periodically create a new thread where we all discuss which short stories we want to read and discuss as a group next. Whenever the thread gets too large and unwieldy we'll lock it and create a new one. You can always suggest short stories more than once. So if you suggested one in a previous thread and it wasn't selected just suggest it again if you're still interested in that story.
Please always make sure your short story is available for free online. And link us to it in your suggestion. Thanks!
So what short story do you suggest for one of our upcoming short story group discussions?

Re: Help us pick our next short stories!
An amazingly powerful short story I'd like to reread is "Silent Snow, Secret Snow," by Conrad Aiken. The young boy who is the focus descends into something like schizophrenia.

I've never read Aiken's story, but I see it in one of my anthologies, Great Tales of Terror and the Supernatural. Can't wait to read it. Thanks for suggesting it, DWill.

I will read Silent Snow Secret Snow, and think it looks a good suggestion.
