Why I am disappointed with this book.
I have read The Girl I knew written by John Alexander and I felt disappointed. At first, I was intrigued with the book's new flavor for Vampire type of love story but I was wrong. It had the same concept as S. Meyer's Twilight novel except to the notion of having supernatural forces interfering with Protagonists' life. Not my cup of tea, I guess.

Well, Sefspeaks, that is why there is more than one writer out there. Personally, I am not into vampire, werewolf and zombie books or movies, though as I kid I loved Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi and Lon Chaney Jr. :) As for Meyers, the only book by her I have read was "The Host" (I am a big fan of science fiction). Even there, it was not the best sci-fi book I have ever read. What genres do you like? Maybe I can put you own to a few authors. BTW, I am in my 70s and have been a compulsive reader since I was five years old.
