Very interesting article and well said. I just wonder about the question of vacillating so much between the realm of atheist, agnostic and Christian. But it is a valid point for the vast majority of people claiming to be a Christian. However, Not a pastor. That was the overall gist that I got from your article. Very intriguing. Good job.

That was good. First time I've seen someone mention number 5 seriously instead of trying to blame me for it.

Yeah, it takes a big person to apologize.
Leave it to a theist, huh?

He makes good points and I know some Christians agree with him, but the problem in America is the LOUDEST Christians - those who have radio shows, television shows, major internet sites, politicians, and so on - they strongly disagree with all of his points, do their best to squelch his views and replace them with hysterical conspiracy theories. Until folks like Jayson Bradley take on the hierarchy publicly and start wrestling broadcast opinion more in his direction, I don't see much change happening.
There’s a weakness in some churches to force people to see believe with 100% certitude or else their faith—and therefore salvation—is in doubt. Because of this, a lot of Christians are deathly afraid of admitting that they don’t know or that they struggle with belief themselves.
Yes, and this is why for many x-Christians, there is a YOOOGE stress relief when leaving the faith: you no longer worry about the potential of spending 7 trillion years with a demon torturing you with a blow torch.

Yes . Someone like Joseph Stalin would definitely agree with you.
