rational thought failing to reveal ALL truths in the Universe is somehow proving that rational thought is inherently inferior to... what? The mantra-like repetition of dogmas that does not involve ANY reasoning whatsoever?
That's fine, Mr.Lavender.., only nobody here is arguing that because cognitive rationality has its limits we should change course mid-stride and sing mantra dogmas from this point forward.

You can fiddle with your "We Want DOGMA! WE WANT DOGMA!" strawman for the remainder of the day.

you must be related to Robert Tulip.

Well, true to form, here we go with another infantile method of making fun of one's name :) Surely, this is directly underpinning your extremely objective rational takes on the subject at hand... Of course, would not even touch on what Lehel and Vandor mean and how far they are (apart from your childish phonem similarity-based association) from anything to do with lavender :))) So you scored many points again, thanks.

With that out of the way, I was hoping that polarising it (let's face it, the video and the quote's central idea, as in myriad other places where it is used as a rhetoric mean, has the central message: rational thought can not provide answers to many, certainly not all questions, it never will... and from this, usually the people leaning on this particular crutch, leap to the alternative that clearly always have and will provide all answers).

So again, it seems the very simple logical extrapolation is mistaken for a strawman - also immensely ironic for you to mention strawmen :)...

So, again, Q.E.D, thanks.

Ant, I want to defend you but you are making it difficult.
I am just your typical movie nerd, postcard collector and aspiring writer.
