Greetings from the Sunshine State
Hi, I'm Carolyn from South Florida. I found BookTalk from doing a search for online book groups. The search yielded a NY Times article about book groups that mentioned BookTalk.....and here we are I also enjoy cross stitching, which might be an addiction LOL I read most genres, with the exception of sci-fi and horror.

Hi Carolyn,
In what area of South Florida do you live? I'm in Palm Harbor.
It is always nice to hear people are finding us through that New York Times article.

I live on the East Coast.....Palm Beach County. One of my husband's best friends lives in your neck of the woods, Largo.

I moved from Largo 2 years ago and still own a property down there. It's about 30 minutes south of Palm Harbor.

Hi Carolyn, and welcome to Book Talk. Saw your post on my thread about book discussion groups. It is always interesting to see what genres others like to read. My tastes are fairly broad as well; I like, in no particular order, science fiction (Hey, tastes differ), mystery/thriller, fantasy (some), historical fiction, western (some), and good general fiction. I also like to read history, biography, and just about anything except romances.
Looking forward to some interesting discussions.
