When it reaches the time of year in which the plants and flowers bloom

So it is the time when Persephone is freed from Hades and an end comes to Demeter's doom

The sun shines, the animals wake from their slumber and the flowers open up in photosynthetic ecstasy

From the beginning of time itself unto the end of time altogether, this is the way of the Gods' fantasy

After such a time in the land when Demeter's joy and jubilation may flourish

Then comes Fall and Winter when Persephone is brought back to Hades and no longer the environment's plants may be nourished

And so these plans take their course in their own due time

And the poets will continue to tell of the Seasons' change in subtle, informative rhyme...
