Hello, I'm J.J. Briggs of E.M.M.G.

Unread post

I'm J.J. Briggs a self taught musician and guitar player and I enjoy creating and helping others create awesome new experiences playing the guitar.

I am the author of guitar instruction book. Which are the results of my dedication and passion to be able to have better control over the frequency of which I heard awesome guitar.

There was no internet available when I started and CD’s were something new. I didn't have access to a lot of music and I loved the sound of the guitar, especially all the classic rock solos of the late seventies, eighties and nineties.

I remember patiently sitting in front of the radio for hours on end with a tape in the deck ready to hit record when a favorite song hit the air. I said to myself, “That's it! I'm going to learn to do it myself and I can hear as much as I want, when I want.” I had to learn on my own and I needed to be able to remember as much as I could, as best as I could, as each component was a challenging puzzle of translation. I have excelled quickly and wish to share the love with others.

I believe that music creates a vibrancy in the lives of people and I am pleased that I am able to contribute to that. I may be just one man, but I am grateful that I am one man who can make a difference.

I enjoy all music, helping the poor, pizza, reading and mustard packets. As if fast food wasn't fast enough to justify standing in line, I do prefer to stand in line sitting in my car.

That's about me...

Thanks for reading,
J.J. Briggs

Welcome to BookTalk.org. :-)

So what do you think is behind this infatuation of yours with mustard packets!? LOL

I'm a total music lover too.

The trusty mustard packet...

If I could only keep one in my wallet. I do appreciate mustard. Not so much when it drips out of my burger and all over myself, car, steering wheel and the like. But I am grateful for it because I now love wetnaps too.

But there is more to it than that...

I believe that it's the little things in life that truly matter. A smile, a thank you, an appreciation or placing value in a person before money. A genuine simple act of kindness that is done for no other reason than to see someone get ahead, at any cost. The little things in life are indeed the greatest.

It is like the mustard seed. Although it is one of the smallest seeds, it grows into a large tree where the birds can perch in it's big branches.
