This is a little bit about her

Yorkshire born but a New Zealand citizen for 61 years.
I always wanted to write a novel set in WW2, because I was there.
I had previously published a book of short stories set on the island where
I live in NZ and it sold well. Now I have achieved my goal and, at
the age of 87, can say I am the author of a novel which is getting good reviews
from readers. A triumph for a mother of five, granny of thirteen and
great gran of one small boy.

Dedicated to the asylum seekers who were forcibly transported to Australia on the Denara in 1940 and to the women who served in the ATS throughout the war
