Polygamy Porter!

Unread post

A friend of mine is out in Salt Lake City right now on business. He just sent me a photo of a bottle of "Polygamy Beer" just for laughs. This isn't the exact photo but it is the same beer. The slogan is "Why have just one!"

I'm sure polygamists aren't too happy with products that poke fun at their religious practices.

Another ad I saw said, "Bring some home to the wives!" haha

Fitzgerald explains that the Law of Utah could not be bothered prosecuting polygamy.

That beard looks fake.

I wonder why not. I'm not on this chapter yet. Polygamists are such a small group that I cannot see how Utah wouldn't benefit by prosecuting. Not that I think they should be prosecuted. I'm just saying that laws should not exist if breaking them brings no punishment.

Awesome! Polygamy Porter is made at Wasatch brew pub in Park City Utah, indicates they have a sense of humor about it... Especially walking in Utah sporting this shirt.

Wasatch also makes Brigham's Brew Root Beer and...(drum roll)....Evolution Amber Ale:
This highly controversial beer is actually a straight-forward, well-balanced, malty amber ale. Tettnanager hops provide a subtle spicy character, which balances out this well-rounded and highly drinkable amber ale.

As always, intelligently designed just for intelligent beer-drinkers.

I love it when people wear funny shirts like this. One of my favorites is when you see a big fat guy in a T-Shirt that says "I survived anorexia!" Cracks me up every time.

My father worked in the cell phone tower industry long ago and one particular tower company had the slogan, "We're proud of our erections!"

Damn! Why didn't they have that beer when I was living in Utah. Will have to get my daughter and son-in-law to look for some (They live next door - in Wyoming.)
