Hi All!

My name is Barry Hayes, I live in northern Alabama but was born in Illinois. I grew up in the mountains and the coalfields of southwest Virginia. I have lived in a lot of places but never outside of the states. I enjoy reading lots of different genres but my main area of interests are Sci-Fi and Fantasy with a dash of Horror from time to time. My favorite author is H.P. Lovecraft. Some of my hobbies include gardening (both vegetable and flower), spending time in thrift stores looking for bargains, crafts and cooking/canning.

I happened across this forum one evening while searching for book blogs and reviews. I joined so I can meet other members who share similar interests.
