New writer of historical mysteries

Unread post

I'm really pleased to find this group. Three months ago I published my first novel, a historical mystery, and have been looking for communities of like-minded writers and readers to share information with.

I divide time between Sarasota, FL, and Paris, both of which are settings for my new novel (and will be for the sequel that's well under way). I'm an ex-journalist in Washington and Europe, which gave me the opportunity to gather much of the information I needed to write Treasure of Saint-Lazare. I've also been a businessman, at least until I took early retirement and turned to writing a few years ago.

Welcome to BookTalk.org. :-)

I'm a Floridian and have been to Sarasota many times. When we go we stay at the Lido Beach Resort. So far we've had nothing but great experiences there.

I can't say I've been to Paris but it is a dream I hope to realize one day. My wife and I spent time in Greece years ago.

Let me know if you need any help navigating the forums. :-)
