New in town, so to speak

New to this awesome site. Grateful to have found you. I live in rural (we're talking the woods here) NW Wisconsin. Wear many hats. Mainly I'm a published author and I (with my wonderful partner) produce the nations first pumpin seed oil.

Ask my anything and thank you for being a part of this site!

We're getting tons and tons of snow. Have to go sit on the tractor for a while...

So happy to be here!

Dear Jay,
welcome to booktalk.
I'm also a newbie, but I think I am starting to learn how the site works. And I think I'll become a regular visitor:)

As far as the snow is concerned, we have a similar situation here, in Serbia (Balkans). :) My street is completely snowbound, so I am trying to stay home, read and enjoy my coffee, or work.

All the best,
Milan

Hello Milan,

Thank you for your kind words. Today I have to, once again, get busy and try to move all this snow. It's beautiful though...This is what I get for wishing for a white Christmas.

Good luck with the snow.
I have decided to stay inside, and just watch the snow, because my neighborhood is snowbound and completely white.
But, I think the kids like it.

I've looked on the amazon.com for your books. I found the title "Moon Over Madeline Island". Is that yours?

I, myself, don't write.
I came here as a reader, and to help my friend promote a book. He is a good writer, bilingual, so I think his English brings something new and different when it comes to images, scenes, metaphors, comparison... You can take a look at this fb page. http://www.facebook.com/thomas.rosemasters
Feel free to comment. :)

all the best,
Milan
