My name is Matt and I am a mechanic in the US Army. Been in almost 10 years, and in that time there has been much time to read in a hurry up and wait world. I am currently stationed in Colorado. My book interests range all over the place. I suppose it depends on my mood. Action, Sci-fi, abseloutly love the Dresdin books. Like I said all over the place. If you have any recommended reads let me know!

Hello, Matt!
How delightful to meet you! My congratulations on finding time to read with that nomadic lifestyle of yours - I know many wouldn't have managed!
Although 'Action' and 'Science-Fiction' are not particularly my areas of expertise, you might want to try "Erewhon" by Samuel Butler. Mind you, it was written in 1872 (if I remember correctly!), and does not exactly pertain to either of the two genres that you mentioned, but it is possible you might find it entertaining nevertheless.
Do tell me if you decide to read it.
Have a lovely day!
